Educational objectives: The goal of the pharmacy major is to cultivate interdisciplinary highly qualified professionals equipped with pharmaceutical fundamentals, basic theories and skills who can work on drug discovery and evaluation, pharmaceutical design and preparation, drug quality standards compliance research and quality control, drug management and pharmaceutical services in drug development and research, production, testing, distribution, application and administration.
Major curriculum: The Pharmacy curriculum includes general education courses, subject foundational courses, and advanced professional courses. The advanced professional courses are divided into Professional core courses and Professional electives.
Professional core courses: Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, The Discipline of Pharmacy Administration, Natural Medicinal Chemistry，Pharmaceutical production practice，Graduation Practice, etc.
Professional elective courses: Drug Design Methodology, Biological Pharmacy, Pharmacognosy, Biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical English, Literatures Retrieval and Scientific Papers Writing, Organic Reaction for Drug Synthesis, Fermentation Engineering, etc.
