2021河北大学国际中文教师奖学金(原孔子学院奖学金)

招生简章

 

为培养合格的海外中文教师,促进世界各国中文教育的发展,助力国际中文教育人才的成长,教育部中外语言交流合作中心(以下简称语合中心)设立国际中文教师奖学金(孔子学院奖学金),以下简称奖学金。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂、部分汉语考试考点、外国高校汉语师范/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使(领)馆等(以下简称推荐机构)可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到河北大学学习和进修汉语国际教育及相关专业。

 

资助对象

非中国籍人士。

身心健康,品学兼优。

有志于从事汉语教育、教学及汉语国际推广相关工作。

截至 2021  9 1 日,年龄为 16-35 周岁。在职汉语教师放宽至 45 周岁,本科奖学金申请者一般不超过25 周岁。

 

奖学金类别及申请条件

 

1. 汉语国际教育专业硕士研究生

2021 9 月入学,资助期限为 2 年。

具有大学本科学历。

汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(五级)210 分、HSKK(中级)60 分。

提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。


2. 汉语国际教育专业本科生

2021 9 月入学,资助期限为 4 年。

具有高中学历。

汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(四级)210 分、HSKK(中级)60 分。


3. 一学年研修生

2021  9 月入学,资助期限为 11 个月。

不录取在华留学生。

1 汉语国际教育方向

汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(三级)270 分,具有 HSKK 成绩。

2 汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学方向

汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(四级)180 分、HSKK(中级)60 分。

3 汉语研修方向

汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(三级)210 分,提供HSKK成绩者优先。 

 

4. 一学期研修生

2021 9 月、2022 3 月入学,资助期限为 5 个月。

不录取护照上有X1X2 签证者。

1 汉语国际教育、汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学方向

汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(三级)180 分,具有 HSKK 成绩。

2 中医、太极文化方向

具有 HSK 成绩,同时提供HSKK成绩者优先。 

 

5. 四周研修生

2021  7 月或 12 月入学,资助期限为 4 周。

不录取护照上有X1X2 签证者。

 

中医、太极文化、汉语言+中国家庭体验、孔子学院专项四周生

具有 HSK 成绩。由孔子学院组团进行报名,并事先联系河北大学确定在华学习计划,提前报中心审批,每团 10-15 人。

 

 

语合中心与河北大学合作奖学金

 

语合中心与河北大学合作设立奖学金,招收类别、名额及申请条件如下:


1. 汉语国际教育专业硕士研究生

招生名额:10

20219月入学,资助期限为2年。资助内容和标准见附录。

具有大学本科学历。

汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(五级)210 分、HSKK(中级)60 分。

提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。


2. 一学年研修生

招生名额:20

2021  9 月入学,资助期限为 11 个月。资助内容和标准见附录。

不录取在华留学生。

1)汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学方向:汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(四级)180  分、HSKK(中级)60 分。

2)汉语国际教育方向:汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(三级)270 分,具有 HSKK  绩。

3)汉语研修方向:汉语考试成绩达到 HSK(三级)210 分,提供HSKK成绩者  优先。 

 

 

办理流程

 

2021  3 1 日起,申请者可登录国际中文教师奖学金(孔子学院奖学金)报名网站(cis.chinese.cn)申请国际中文教师奖学金。

登录奖学金网站,查询推荐机构与接收院校;

在线提交申请材料(申请合作奖学金者需在“奖学金类别”一项中选择标注“合作”的相关项目),关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果;

奖学金获得者与我校确认办理来华留学手续,在线打印获奖证书;

按录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。

申请截止日期(以北京时间为准):

14 15 日(7 月入学)。

25 15 日(9 月入学)。

39 15 日(12 月入学)。

411 15 日(2022 3 月入学)。

中心委托专家集中评审,择优资助,于入学前 3 个月完成奖学金评审工作,公布评审结果。

 

 

申请材料清单

 

1.与所有申请者有关的证明材料

护照照片页扫描件。

HSKHSKK成绩报告(有效期两年)扫描件。

推荐机构负责人的推荐信。


2. 与学历生有关的证明材料

提供最高学历证明(毕业预期证明)和在校学习成绩单。

汉语国际教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。

提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。


3. 在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信


4. 未满18周岁的申请者,须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件

 

 

关于汉语桥获奖者

 

在各类汉语桥比赛中获得 2021 年度“孔子学院奖学金证书”者,登录国际中文教师奖学金(孔子学院奖学金)网站,凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。

其它

 

1. 申请者须了解简章中的具体招生条件及报名截止时间,按照相关规定提交申请材料。

2. 学历生须参加年度评审,详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。

3. 无故未按时报到、入学体检不合格、中途退学、休学者, 取消奖学金资格。

4. 因故不能报到,应在报到日前15天通过电子邮件告知我校并说明原因。

附录

 

河北大学国际中文教师奖学金资助内容及标准

 

奖学金资助内容包括:学费、住宿费、生活费(四周研修生除外)和综合医疗保险费。

1.学费用于奖学金生的培养与管理、开展文化活动、组织参加汉语考试,不包含教 材费和旅游景点门票。

2.住宿费由河北大学统筹使用,为奖学金生提供免费宿舍,一般为双人间。

3.生活费按月发放。本科生、一学年和一学期研修生标准为2500元人民币/月;汉 语国际教育专业硕士生为3000元人民币/月。

奖学金生按学校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到,否则取消奖学金资格。915日(含15日)前到校注册者,当月发放全额生活费;15日以后注册者,当月发放半月生活费。奖学金生在学期间(不含寒暑假)因个人原因离开中国时间超过15天者,停发离华期间生活费。奖学金生因个人原因休学、退学或受接收院校纪律处分者,停发自休学、退学或接到处分通知之日起的生活费。毕(结)业生的生活费发放至学校确定的毕(结)业日期后的半个月。

4.综合医疗保险费参照中国教育部来华留学有关规定执行,由河北大学统一购买。 四周研修生标准为160元人民币/人,一学期研修生为400元人民币/人,一学年 以上标准为800元人民币//人。

 

 

 

 

2021 Hebei University International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship

 

For the purpose of cultivating qualified Chinese language teachers and promoting the development of Chinese language education all over the world, the Center for language Education and Cooperation (hereinafter to be collectively referred to as “the Center”) launches “International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship” (Confucius Institute Scholarship) to support outstanding students, scholars and currently employed Chinese language teachers recommended by Confucius Institutes, independently operated Confucius Classrooms, HSK test centers, Chinese language education departments in foreign universities and organizations, as well as  Chinese consulates abroad (hereinafter to be collectively referred to as “recommending institutions”) to study in Chinese universities and colleges. Hebei University is one of the host institutions from 2009.

 

ELIGIBILITY

All applicants shall be

1.   Non-Chinese citizens

2.   In good Physical and mental health, well performed both academically and behaviorally

3. Aspired to pursue future careers on Chinese language teaching or international promotion of Chinese language.

4. Between the ages of 16-35 (by September 1st, 2021). Applicants currently worked as Chinese language teachers should be under age 45, while undergraduate students should be under 25.

 

 

SCHOLARSHIP TYPES & QUALIFICATIONS

 

1. Scholarship for Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL)

This program commences in September 2021 and provides scholarship for maximum two academic years. 

Applicants shall be Bachelor degree holders, and have a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 5) as well as 60 in HSKK test (Intermediate Level).

Applicants who are able to provide notarized document of the employment agreement or related proofs upon completing study in China are preferred. 

 

2. Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (BTCSOL)

This program commences in September 2021 and provides scholarship for maximum four academic years.

Applicants must have graduated with a high school diploma, , and have a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 4) as well as 60 in HSKK test (Intermediate Level). 

 

3. Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Study

This program commences in September 2021, and provides scholarship for maximum 11 months.

International students currently studying in China are not eligible.

 

(1) TCSOL

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 270 in HSK test (Level 3), while HSKK test score required.

(2) Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History, and Chinese Philosophy

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 in HSK test (Level 4) and 60 in HSKK test (intermediate level).

(3) Chinese Language Study

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 in HSK test (Level-3).Applicants with HSKK score would be considered favorably.

 

4.  Scholarship for One-Semester Study

This program commences either in September 2021 or March 2022, and provides scholarship of maximum 5 months. Applicants withholding visas X1 or X2 are not eligible.

 

(1)  TCSOL, Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History and Chinese Philosophy

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 in HSK test (Level 3), while HSKK test score required.

(2)  Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taiji Culture

HSK test score are required. Applicants with HSKK score would be considered favorably.

 

5.  Scholarship for Four-Week Study

This program commences either in July or December of 2021, and provides a four-week scholarship. Applicants withholding visas X1 or X2 are not eligible.

 

(1)  Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taiji Culture

(2)  Chinese Language plus home-stay Experience in a Chinese Family

(3)  Special Four-week Program for Confucius Institutes

For these three categories, HSK test score are required. It will be organized and applied through a Confucius Institute, with 10-15 participants per group. Prior to the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made after consultation with Hebei University and submitted to the Center for approval.

 

Cooperative Scholarship (The Center has established a scholarship in cooperation with HBU)

 

1. Scholarship for Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) (quota 10)

 

This program commences in September 2021 and provides scholarship for maximum two academic years. 

Applicants shall be Bachelor degree holders, and have a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 5) as well as 60 in HSKK test (Intermediate Level).

Applicants who are able to provide notarized document of the employment agreement or related proofs upon completing study in China are preferred. 

 

2. Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Study (quota 20)

This program commences in September 2021, and provides scholarship for maximum 11 months.

International students currently studying in China are not eligible.

(1)  TCSOL

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 270 in HSK test (Level 3), while HSKK test score required.

(2)  Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History, and Chinese Philosophy

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 in HSK test (Level 4) and 60 in HSKK test (intermediate level).

(3)  Chinese Language Study

Applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 in HSK test (Level-3).Applicants with HSKK score would be considered favorably.

 

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Online registration will be available from March 1, 2021 on the Confucius Institute Scholarship website (cis.chinese.cn).

Please log on to search recommending institutions and host institutions, upload application materials online (applicants for cooperative scholarship need to select relevant program marked with cooperative from the category of scholarship type), and track the application progress, feedback of review and admission results.

Scholarship holders need to confirm with the host institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out CIS certificate online, and register at Hebei University at the designated date and time as per the letter of admission.

 

The application deadlines:

  (1)    April 15th (for those commencing in July)

  (2)   May 15th (for those commencing in September)

  (3)   September 15th (for those commencing in December)

  (4)  November 15th (for those commencing in March 2022)

 

The Center will complete the scholarship review and publish the results three months before enrollment.

 

 

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS FOR CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP

 

1.     For all applicants

(1)  A Scanned copy of passport photo page

(2)     A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity).

(3)      A Recommendation letter by the head of the recommending institutions

2.     For degree scholarship program applicants

(4)      A certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript.

(5)      Applicants of the Scholarship for MTCSOL Students are required to provide 2 recommendation letters from professors or associate professors. Those who can provide a notarized employment agreement with teaching institutions are preferred.

3.    Applicants currently worked as Chinese language teachers shall provide the proof of employment as well as a recommendation letter from the employer.

4.    Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.

5.     Applicants shall also provide additional documents required by Hebei University.

 

 

CHINESE BRIDGE AWARD RECIPIENT POLICIES

Chinese Bridge winners who have been awarded the 2021 “Confucius Institute Scholarship Certificate” shall log onto the scholarship website and submit documents to relevant host institutions upon presentation of their CIS certificates. Please contact chinesebridge@hanban.org for inquiry.

 

 

OTHERS

1.  Applicants should be aware of the detailed application requirement and deadlines of Hebei University and submit application documents as instructed.

2.  Degree students shall accept the annual assessment under the Annual Appraisal Procedures of Confucius Institute Scholarship

3.  Those who failed to register on time without reason, failed to pass the health assessment, dropped out midway and/or suspended will be deprived of scholarship.

4.  Scholarship winners who cannot register for some reason should inform the university via E-mail 15 days before the registration deadline and give explanation.

APPENDIX

 

International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship Coverage and Criteria

The International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance (four-week study students are excluded) and comprehensive medical insurance expenses.

(1)      Tuition fee is to pay for teaching and managing scholarship students, organizing cultural and social activities, as well as organizing Chinese language proficiency tests. Tuition fee does not cover the textbook expenses and tourist tickets.

(2)      Accommodation fee is under the overall planning and utilization of Hebei University to provide students with on-campus apartments (usually double-bed).

(3)      Living allowance is granted on a monthly basis. The monthly allowance for undergraduates, one-academic-year study students or one-semester students is 2,500 CNY per person. For MTCSOL student, the monthly allowance is 3,000 CNY per person.

Students are required to complete enrollment procedures for every semester within stipulated period; otherwise, their scholarship may be canceled. Students who are enrolled before the 15th (or on the 15th) of September are entitled to the full- month allowance, while those enrolled after the 15th of September are only entitled to half of the amount for the first month.

During the study period, for any student who is absent from China due to personal reasons for more than 15 days (excluding winter and summer breaks), the allowance during absence will be suspended.

For students who suspend study or drop out of school for personal reasons, or who are given disciplinary punishment by Hebei University, allowance will be terminated on the date of such suspension, dropping out or when the decision of such punishment is announced.

The living allowance for the month of graduation will be granted half a month after the date of graduation or expiration day of the study confirmed by Hebei University.

Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased by the host institutions in accordance with relevant regulations of studying in China stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China. Insurance fee per person is 160 CNY for four-week study students, 400 CNY for one-semester students, and 800 CNY per year for students engaged in program longer than one academic year.
